      As with most stroker kits, we recomend that you have this kit balanced.  The crankshaft included requires an external, 400 SBC style, flywheel and balancer.    We suggest Scat SCA8003 balancer and FP-400-SFI flexplate.

      About 9000 Series Material: Scat's Space Age 9000 Material is a high strength steel with up to 105,000 psi tensile strength,  much stronger than a cast crankshaft material.  A worthwhile upgrade for certain!
