Shipping & Returns

Northern Auto Parts ships all domestic orders via UPS and US Postal Service. We will determine the best method based on price, location and speed of delivery.

  • Shipping charges are billed on all orders. (If your order needs to be packaged in multiple boxes it will be considered multiple shipments.)

  • Alaska & Hawaii have different charges. Call with questions.

  • All International orders have different charges. Call with questions

 Shipping and Return Policy Note:

  • Call for shipping charges on heads, engine stands, floor jacks.

  • Crankshafts ordered with a kit will be considered a 2nd order.

  • Gas charged shocks, paint, brake cleaner, carb cleaner, and some chemicals cannot ship air freight.

  • There may be additional charges for some areas. We will contact you.

  • We cannot ship to countries where shipments are prohibited by the United States Government. See the full list below.

  • Shipping and handling charges will be added to all orders. All claims for shortages must be made within 10 days of receipt order.

Delivery Times

Delivery time from Northern Auto Parts ranges from 1 to 5 business days, depending on your delivery area. Rural addresses may take an additional 1 to 2 days.


Drop Shipping

Drop shipping is allowed on charge card orders. All manufacturer special handling fees apply.

Cores

All cores must be returned to:

     Northern Auto Parts
     801 Lewis Blvd.
     Sioux City, IA 51105

Freight must be prepaid for all returns. The manufacturers require that cores be returned in original boxes. Cores must be rebuildable and not damaged, broken, disassembled or have missing pieces. Please include invoice number and date of original purchase along with contact phone number with all returns.

Car Part Return Policy

All returns must be prepaid. No collect shipments will be accepted. Return parts in original box undamaged to:

Only new, unused parts and defects will be accepted for refunds. All new returns are subject to a 15% restock charge after 60 days. All returns must have invoice number and contact information included with the returned item. 

Warranty Information

All manufacturers warranties apply. Visit the manufacturers website for specific information. Performance parts and parts used for racing or competition are warranted against manufacturers' defects only. They are not warranted for wear or breakage under any circumstance. Inspect your parts before use. If you are returning electrical parts for warranty consideration, please call Customer Service before you ship them. Some manufacturers require the parts be sent directly to them. 

Refunds

Refunds from charge card orders will be credited to the same card number from which the purchase was made.
